The young and talented soprano Alessia Panza has won the ASLICO Competition 2023, gaining the chance to debut the title role of Luisa Miller at Teatro Sociale in Como. He was also awarded the first prized at the Tosti Competition 2024, gaining her debut in Japan with the Japan Tosti Foundation.
In 2020 she made her debut at Festival Verdi Parma, singing in the recital “Fuoco di Gioia” under the baton of Donato Renzetti and she was invited back at Festival Verdi in 2021, participating in the production of Simon Boccanegra conducted by Michele Mariotti, and in 2022, covering the role of Amelia in Simon Boccanegra, in 2024 as cover of Lina in La battaglia di Legnano and for the Verdi gala.
In Summer 2022 she has been a member of Academy of Festival della Valle d’Itria in Martina Franca, where she performed the Dame Pâle in the production of Le joueur by Sergej Prokof’ev.
She has distinguished herself in several international singing competitions: in 2017 “Rossini” prize at the “Giovani in crescendo” Competition in Pesaro, in 2018 first prize at the “XVI International Opera Competition S. Francesco di Paola” in Cosenza, in 2019 “Joven Promesa” prize at the “Concurso Internacional Lirico de Alicante” in Spain, in 2020 second prize at the “International Opera Competition San Colombano” in Piacenza, in 2021 prize as “Best emerging voice” at ASLICO competition, in 2022 First Prize at XIII “Concorso Lirico Internazionale Città di Brescia omaggio a Maria Callas” and first prize of Koliqi Competition in Milan, in 2023 the prize as “Best Italian Singer” at CLIP Competition in Portofino.
She has sung as a soprano soloist in numerous concerts in Italy (Milan, Parma, Rome, Verona, Bologna, Turin.) and abroad (ABAO, Bilbao, New York, Greenwich, Stamford, Warsaw, Alicante), and she has been invited by several festivals including Verdi Off at Teatro Regio di Parma, Festa dell’Opera at Teatro Grande in Brescia, “Como Città della Musica” Festival at Teatro Sociale in Como.
Born in 1998 in Brescia, she approached music at a very young age, then she has begun studying singing under the guidance of alto Alessandra Perbellini and in 2020 she graduated with honors from the Conservatory “Arrigo Boito” in Parma under the guidance of soprano Donatella Saccardi. In the same year she attended the Accademia Verdiana of Teatro Regio di Parma and currently she is studying with soprano Anna Pirozzi and baritone Federico Longhi.
She has already sung Desdemona in Verdi’s Otello in concert version with Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini, Mimì in La bohème in VoceAllOpera production in Bologna and in Milan and Countess Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro at Stresa Festival, with the stage direction of Gianmaria Aliverta.
